A Walk in Their Shoes-Mental Health

Participants will learn about different mental health disorders by walking in the shoes of students who have various mental health diagnoses. Case scenarios will be used to provide participants a taste of what it is like for students to live with mental health challenges such as Bi-polar Disorder, Schizophrenia, MDD, ADHD, ODD etc. Participants will experience realistic challenges and perceptions a person who has a mental health disorder lives with on a daily basis. Participants will work as a team to help each other through the experience. A debrief will take place at the end of the training- We may decide to do this in a panel style presentation.
